Location Narrative	Horning Ranch, Hamlin Canyon in Butte County: A California Annual Grassland on NW-facing, moderate slopes surrounded on all sides by blue oak savanna. The dominance of medusahead, Lolium, and goat grass is patchy across the stand. The stand is drying out so the cover of Bromus hordeaceus and others was probably higher earlier in the season.
