Location Narrative ? North Lake McClure, Mariposa County: A smallish strip of riparian vegetation associated with a creek, just NW of where it enters Lake McClure. Scattered overstory of Quercus wislizeni with a shrub understory of Heteromeles arbutifolia along the creek banks, with Cephalanthus, red willow, grape, and Himalayan blackberry. The dominant shrub in the understory is patchy and shifts along the creek.
