Location Narrative ? This is a stand of scattered Quercus lobata growing along a seasonal (almost dry) creek, Yaqui Gulch. There are some Quercus wislizeni in the understory and the shrub layer consists mostly of Toxicodendron diversilobum in patches. The herbaceous layer occurs mostly along the creek and is fairly diverse.
