About 12-acre stand of small, dense Quercus douglasii. Area was cleared 100 years ago. Current trees in stand are approximately 60 yrs old. Situated on flat top of hill, sloping below. Blue oaks and interior live oaks have many multi-stemmed trunks. Understory is grassy with Rhus trilobata and Lonicera, but not many other shrubs.
