South Lake McClure, Mariposa County: Typical, open blue oak woodland with no shrub understory and a dense herbaceous understory of non-native annual grasses. I don't think this area is grazed. The GPS point was taken at the base of the stand, close to a narrow stand of interior live oak that is between this stand and the lake.
