Private, roadside near BLM and BOR parcels near the boundary of Calaveras and Tuolumne Counties. Quercus lobata stand above creek on both E & W banks. Slopes steep above alders in creek bottom (separate stand). Understory includes Acer, Heteromeles arbutifolia, herbs and grasses. Mixed-age Quercus lobata (several T4 & T5s). Data taken for east bank only. Two trails traverse stand. Well developed mesic shrub understory away from trails (weedy near trails).
