This is a large, fairly typical stand of California Annual Grassland. There is dense cover of Bromus hordeaceus, Vulpia bromoides, and significant cover of Holocarpha virgata. One patch of Quercus douglasii in the center of the stand is excluded from this survey. There are many "gopher" holes in the stand.
