Location Narrative |
Leininger Ranch is an easement of The Nature Conservancy. A tall dense shrub stand on the N-facing banks just above Deer Creek, dominated primarily by shrubs but with a consistent presence of Fraxinus as well as a diversity of other shrubs and small trees (poison oak, clematis, buckeye, interior live oak, juniper, etc). The herb layer is sparse but dominated by native grasses and forbs.

Observation Narrative |
Medium confidence on the cover estimates because I was unable to navigate through stand (dense stand grades into adjacent poison oak and interior oak stand).
