Jackson Rancheria in Amador County: This is a small stand of Quercus lobata growing along a small perennial creek that also contains significant cover of Quercus chrysolepis. The shrub layer is dense consisting mostly of Rubus spp. The herb layer is sparse and consists mostly of Artemisia douglasiana and Holcus lanatus in patches. There are many short Fraxinus latifolia in the stand.
