Mesic slope with mixed oaks, madrone, bay with scattered Pinus ponderosa and Pinus sabiniana. Shrub understory is dense in parts and is mostly Heteromeles arbutifolia, poison oak, and young madrone. Sparse herbaceous layer. The stand is large, covering entire hillside over a narrow point of Lake Oroville. Stand is at least 50 yrs old. It is a mixed-aged stand with young pines.
