North Lake McClure, Mariposa County: The stand is an interior live oak woodland with scattered emergent foothill pine and a dense shrub understory of poison oak and Heteromeles arbutifolia of varying heights. The herb layer is sparse and there is heavy litter cover. There appears to have been some clearing of brush and young trees in some parts of this stand, very random though.
