Location Narrative ? South Lake McClure, Mariposa County: This stand consists of dense to openly spaced Ceanothus cuneatus bordering a seasonal (almost dry) drainage along a dirt road. There is a wide diversity of herbaceous species in the understory and active cattle grazing in the area. The stand, as surveyed, is a narrow strip of vegetation about 200 m long running N to S, in which C. cuneatus is dominant.
