Location Narrative ? South Lake McClure, Mariposa County: An open blue oak woodland with blue oak of different ages in a clumpy distribution throughout the stand. Large isolated individuals of gray pine occur throughout as well as small scattered clumps of wedgeleaf ceanothus (and a few of chamise). The herb layer is dense and mostly annual grasses, but with a fair amount of nativity. Half of the survey area is across a fence on private land.
