Location Narrative ![?](http://vegbank.org/vegbank/images/question.gif) |
Jackson Rancheria in Amador County: This is a small stand of dense, even-aged Arctostaphylos viscida growing with a very few other shrub species. The herbaceous layer occurs only in openings and is very sparse and lacking in diversity. This type of stand appears to be related to some type of disturbance (i.e., clearing or an old road).
