BLM and BOR Parcels, Calaveras and Tuolumne Counties, New Melones Reservoir: This is a mixed Gray Pine open shrubland-grassland stand on a steep, rocky, S facing mid slopes. The shrub component is a mix of Chamise and Heteromeles arbutifolia. This stand should be revisited in the spring to assess the herb layer. The pines are a mix of medium-sized saplings and larger trees.
