Private, roadside near BLM and BOR parcels near the boundary of Calaveras and Tuolumne Counties. A low-tree Quercus wislizeni stand with scattered emergent pine and a dense shrub understory of Heteromeles arbutifolia and poison oak. The stand is situated on the mid to lower, very steep slopes of this limestone canyon north of New Melones Lake, where the natural bridge is located.
