Location Narrative ? Stand is located on a north-facing slope just above the high water line of Lake Oroville. Canopy is dominated by mature Quercus kelloggii with emergent Pinus sabiniana. Moderately dense understory of Arctostaphylos viscida, Aesculus californica, and Heteromeles arbutifolia. A dirt road divides the stand. The proximity to the reservoir may have an influence on the climate (i.e. humidity) affecting this stand.
