An upper-ridge stand of blue oak woodland with a dense, tall, mature understory of manzanita as well as scattered poison oak and Heteromeles arbutifolia. The stand type is probably transitional, but is consistently occurring on the upper slopes of this small hill. The herb layer is sparse.
