Large, old-growth Arctostaphylos manzanita interspersed with young multi-stemmed Quercus wislizeni, and Heteromeles arbutifolia interspersed with occasional and emergent Pinus sabiniana. Sparse herbaceous understory with many regenerating Pinus sabiniana, Quercus wislizeni, and some Pinus ponderosa. The stand is on top and mid-slope, facing SW on peninsula that runs SE into Lake Oroville. Understory becomes more dense downslope and oaks are smaller, multi-stemmed and younger. Manzanita is becoming decadent as it becomes overshaded.
