A mixed riparian stand along an intermittent creek (dry now) in a gulch. The overstory tree canopy is a mix of red willow, cottonwoods, and valley oak, with some canyon live oak and a number of mature Ailanthus. The shrub understory is dominated by Rubus discolor.
