BLM and BOR Parcels, Calaveras and Tuolumne Counties, New Melones Reservoir: This is a small riparian stand along both sides of the creek, dominated by Alnus rhombifolia. Creek margins are mostly open and rocky except where dominated by Rubus discolor. The Alnus rhombifolia are mostly mature.
