Private, roadside near BLM and BOR parcels near the boundary of Calaveras and Tuolumne Counties. A dense, closed-canopy canyon live oak stand on the steep, N-facing lower slopes. Grape is growing up into the canopy. Bay is scattered throughout the understory and poison oak is continuous as a ground cover. The herb layer is very sparse.
