The stand is located northwest of where Ballard Springs Road crosses the first seasonal creek past Rim Road. It is a low lying drainage originating at the spring. It is rocky with standing water and high cover of Eleocharis. There is also Juncus, Briza, and Mimulus scattered throughout the stand.
