This is a northwest-facing chamise - manzanita stand on serpentine. It potentially continues to areas south and north of the waypoint on similar aspects. Arctostaphylos viscida, Heteromeles arbutifolia, and interior live oak consistently mix throughout the stand. The manzanita seems to be more dense on the hilltops. Galium aparine, G. porrigens, Bromus madritensis, Vulpia myuros, Aira caryophyllea, and Gastridium ventricosum were present in the stand, but no cover values were assigned.
