The stand is located on the BLM Moccasin Point parcel in Tuolumne County. It is a stand of Arctostaphylos viscida covering the top slopes of a hill northeast of Priest-Coulterville road. The stand was burned 5-10 years ago. The shrubs are short, between 0.5 and 1.5 meters tall. The stand occurs on the upper 1/3 of the slope. Chamise dominates lower edge of slope.
