Along Sutter Creek Volcano Rd, Amador County: This site was cleared about 10 years ago, and is now covered with an almost solid, even-aged stand of Arctostaphylos viscida surrounded by Quercus wislizeni alliance. The understory is sparse, consisting mostly of Luzula comosa with some Calochortus monophylla along the N perimeter of the stand. There are lots of oak and pine seedlings in the stand.
