Location Narrative ? The stand is an interior live oak woodland in the southwest corner of a BLM parcel in El Dorado County. It is along the west bank of the Cosumnes River. The live oak canopy is intermittent and the shrubs are evenly spaced in the understory. The herbaceous layer is dense and composed mostly of exotic grasses.
