A chamise dominated stand with yerba santa, manzanita, Heteromeles arbutifolia, and birchleaf mountain-mahogany intermixed particularly of higher, more east-facing slopes. Most of the chamise is resprout from burnt crowns. The stand is west of Highway 49 off Black Creek Road.
