This is a stand of large Quercus douglasii, a few large Pinus sabiniana, and significant cover of Juniperus californica growing on a volcanic plateau. There are scattered Ceanothus cuneatus in the stand, especially in openings. The herbaceous layer is mostly exotic grasses.
