An expansive chamise stand with occasional yerba santa, Heteromeles arbutifolia, manzanita, and/or Lotus scoparius concentrations. Widely spaced burned crowns with resprouts and young individuals occur throughout the stand. The interstices are rocky and bare and some with Helianthemum and a few grasses. The stand is northwest of Highway 132 at the Horseshoe Bend.
