Location Narrative ? Wurlitzer Ranch lies in both Tehama and Butte Counties. This stand sits on a land bar between two forks of Pine Creek, just east of the confluence. The substrate is very sandy, and not rocky like the adjacent creek beds. The Rubus discolor is about 30-40% dead and the Vitis californica is growing on top of the dead Rubus discolor matter. All the emergent trees and shrubs have low cover and do not really characterize the stand.
