CDPR and ACOE lands along the Yuba River: This stand is just about an acre and is dominated by mature Arbutus menziesii with a sub-canopy of young, multi-stemmed Quercus wislizeni. There is a sparse Heteromeles arbutifolia-dominated shrub layer with very few herbs and dense litter. The Arbutus menziesii are starting to loose their leaves. A road intersects this stand. The soil parent material is unknown.
