The stand is a narrow band of riparian alder with some Douglas-fir overstory. The species and cover values in this assessment are fairly typical of the streamside vegetation along this stretch of Antelope Creek. The shrub understory is multi-storied with dogwood, blackberry, and California grape, and the herb layer is dominated in this stretch by Aralia and Darmera. The ground cover of moss = 5%.
