Location Narrative ? A small stand on a dry terrace on the south side of South Fork Antelope Creek fairly typical of the area (at least on the slopes above the adjacent black oak stands). The stand consists of open gray pine over scrub oak and buckbrush with a hodgepodge mix of other chaparral shrubs and a typical chaparral-associated herbaceous layer (many more species than could fit on this list).
