CDPR and ACOE lands along the Yuba River: A fairly typical California Annual Grassland in an open field near the cemetery and the visitor center. The stand is mostly dominated by Bromus hordeaceus, with patches where other species dominate. Where the stand continues on the other side of the road, there's a heavy infestation of star thistle. Much of the vegetation is already fallen over as thatch now, thus, the high cover.
