Location Narrative ? This stand is dominated by Quercus wislizeni and Aesculus californica, and covers large areas of the western side of Folsom Lake. It starts just above the Populus fremontii - Salix gooddingii stands at lake level. The slopes are fairly steep and understory is predominately Styrax, Toxicodendron diversilobum, Mimulus aurantiacus, and Heteromeles arbutifolia.
