Location Narrative
This is a very dense and mixed stand along the south shore of the Bear River, just west of Hwy 49. It is dominated by Salix with an occasional Populus fremontii, lots of button-willow and some Alnus. It is unused by humans currently (almost impenetrable) but I'm standing next to an old picnic bench.
