Location Narrative ? Wurlitzer Ranch lies in both Tehama and Butte Counties. This stand consists of narrow bands of vegetation along both sides of Pine Creek, dominated by Alnus rhombifolia and Rubus discolor. The creek bed and margins are very cobbly with lots of big boulders and a few feet up from the creek on both sides is flat volcanic mudflow bedrock (not in the stand). The channel is about 2-3 m wide and about 0.5-1 m deep. The stand is roughly 12 m x 50 m.
