CDPR and ACOE lands along the Yuba River: This is a Quercus douglasii/grass stand with a relatively high cover of native grasses (Elymus glaucus, Nassella pulchra). The Quercus douglasii individuals are multi-aged and growing densely. Most of the annual grasses are dead at this point. This stand is very small, but repeats throughout this landscape in small pockets that have dry conditions.
