Location Narrative ? Near Hathaway Ranch, Shasta County: This narrow band of Ceanothus cuneatus wraps around the base of a rock wall ledge, just below the top (of the mesa). It sits below a stand of Quercus wislizeni and Pinus sabiniana (previous survey) and lies just above a stand of Brachypodium, Avena, and Bromus hordeaceus. Stand faces SSE and is unlike N side of projecting finger. Shrubs are young, replacing stand after 1992/93 fire. Some small standing dead shrubs (<1 m).
