Morales Ranch is an easement of the American River Conservancy. This is a small Pinus sabiniana/grass stand on a steep W facing slope, sandwiched between Quercus wislizeni to the W and N, and Quercus douglasii on the ridgetop to the E, and a California Annual Grassland to the S. The pines are multi-aged with some very mature individuals. There is a high diversity of exotic annual grasses and herbs, not all fit on the species list.
