| Location Narrative |
Morales Ranch is an easement of the American River Conservancy. This Baccharis pilularis stand is on a ridgetop and hillside that were probably cleared and/or burned. There are stumps, but no evidence of burning. Baccharis pilularis is growing in clumps, with annual grasses and Centaurea solstitialis growing in patches in between. On this hillside there are other young shrubs and young Quercus wislizeni and Pinus ponderosa to the north of the stand.
