| Location Narrative |
Morales Ranch is an easement of the American River Conservancy. This stand is an open Quercus wislizeni woodland on the top and all sides of a gentle hill with an open understory. Quercus wislizeni individuals are multi-stemmed and multi-aged with some very mature individuals. There is some dead and dying, decadent Arctostaphylos viscida. There do not appear to be any disturbances other than competition from exotics.
