Location Narrative ? This is a mixed-age stand of old growth Quercus lobata containing mature and young Q. lobata. Salix laevigata intermixes in canopy gaps, while Rubus discolor is dense in the impenetrable understory. Waypoint and pictures taken outside of stand, I later found a spot to walk into stand and observe soils, etc.
