Canopy of Quermon, Quercocc. Abundant pine, including pinus pungens, recently dead. Some Tsuga caroliniana. Some pine regeneration.; AND: Quercus ilicifolia is abundant in modules 5-8, especially 7-8. Larger canopy gap from pine mortality in that area. Standing dead and recently fallen pines throughout. Some standing dead and broken oaks. Shrub layer has proliferated. Hemloch woolly adelgid is present but none are dead.
