The plot is a somewhat fragmented floating mat. The intensive corners were done in pseudo - random parts of the most continuous mat. The methodology was highly irregular. There is about 1.5 m of water beneath the mat.

Observation Narrative
The plot is a floating mat with a Hydrocotyle ranunculoides foundation. Panicum hemitomen binds it together, and Lemna is amid the mat and dense in the rest of the pond. All of the plants in the plot are footed in the floating mat.
