Observation Narrative
Canopy heavily influenced by surrounding uplands - acidic oak hickory forest. Seep trees include Fraxinus, Magnolia virginiana, and Acer rubrum. Viburnum nudum and Smilax rotundifolia are abundant in the shrub layer. Herb layer is sparse.
ATV tracks through downstream end of plot. Soil is compacted and there is very little vegetation. Also probably some degree of erosion and downcutting of the stream channel, but it is small compared to most of the other seeps in the county. Some trash.
