Park at the parking lot (go around the battlefield loop road and take the left after the Scruggs House parking). Walk S on the battlefield trail. Pass over Green River Road and walk approx. 15 m, then head due E into the dry oak forest about 25 m. A tall straight Quercus coccinea with tag #27 marks the plot (facing SW). Conduit is 1.5 m SW of tag tree. Vegetation plot is laid out at a bearing of 170 degrees from conduit.
