Landscape Narrative
Environmental_Comments: Some older trees surrounding plot but mainly young tuliptree and hickory suggesting a very young forest. No pines. Erosion of streambank; old agriculture field.; Landscape_Comments: Though topography is slight, there is definitely more of an upland area.
Representativeness
Smilax community is probably only center of 1-ha; also upland community and stream community.
