Follow the loop road around the park. As loop road goes east it will turn north, then turn back east. Park on shoulder shortly after road turns back east. Head due south for about 60 m. Tag tree is a 25-cm dbh Liquidambar on the west side of the creek in a Microstegium clearing. Tag #57 faces WNW. The conduit is in the middle of the Microstegium patch 3 m from the tag tree at a bearing of 300 degrees. Vegetation plot runs out from conduit at a heading of 170 degrees.

Environmental_Comments: Erosion; hydrologic; old lake bed; according to Steve Ware, this was once a pond, but the dam broke at one point and was never repaired, thus we have the current successional creek community.
